Comeback Strength

Terms of Service

Effective October 27, 2026.

These Terms are an agreement between you and Comeback Strength ("we", "us"). They cover your use of the Comeback Strength app and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

Please read section 3 (Not medical care), section 5 (Training at your own risk) and section 12 (Limits on our liability) carefully. They limit what you can claim from us if you get hurt.

1. Who can use the App

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must read and agree to these Terms for you, and they are responsible for your use of the App.

2. What the App is

Comeback Strength is a general fitness and strength training app. It builds training plans from the answers you give (such as your sport, past injury, goals, schedule and equipment), lets you log workouts and food, and gives estimated calories and protein for meals.

3. Not medical care

The App is not medical care, physical therapy or rehabilitation, and it is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any injury or condition.

Training plans are general programs based on the information you enter. They are not personalized medical advice, and no doctor, physical therapist or other health professional reviews your plan. Using the App does not create a doctor-patient or therapist-patient relationship with anyone.

Always follow the advice of your own doctor or physical therapist. If their instructions differ from the App, follow theirs.

4. Get cleared before you train

Before using the App, and especially after an injury or surgery, you must be cleared for exercise by a qualified medical provider. By using the App you confirm that you have been cleared for the kind of training you do with it, and that you will follow any limits your provider gave you.

Talk to your provider before starting or changing any exercise program if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, are pregnant, take medication that affects exercise, or have any other health concern.

5. Training at your own risk

Strength training, throwing, swinging, sprinting, jumping and other exercise carry real risks, including muscle and tendon strains, joint injuries, re-injury of a previously injured area, and in rare cases serious injury, heart problems or death.

You choose whether to do each exercise, how much weight to use, how many sets and reps to do, and whether to use an equipment swap. You voluntarily accept all risks of injury, illness or damage that come from your training, whether or not you use the App as intended.

Stop exercising right away and get medical help if you feel sharp or worsening pain, swelling, numbness, a catching or giving-way feeling in a joint, chest pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Use proper form, safe equipment and a spotter when needed.

6. Food and calorie estimates

Calorie, protein, carbohydrate and fat numbers in the App, including estimates made by AI from your descriptions or photos, are approximations and can be wrong. They are not dietary or medical advice. Do not rely on them to manage a medical condition, food allergy or eating disorder, or to make decisions about medication. Check nutrition labels yourself when it matters.

7. Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure, and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account.

You can delete your account at any time from the You tab. Deleting it permanently removes your account and your data, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Your data

You own the information you put into the App, such as your profile, workouts and food log. You give us permission to store, process and back up that information only so we can run the App for you. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

9. Using the App fairly

Don't misuse the App. For example, don't use it for anything illegal, try to access other people's data, interfere with or overload our systems, use automated tools to send requests to the AI estimate feature, or copy, resell or reverse engineer the App, except where the law allows it.

The App, its exercise library, plan logic, design and name belong to us and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by these Terms and the App Store's rules.

10. Subscriptions

Some features, including the personalized training plan, suggested weights and AI food estimates, are part of Comeback Strength Pro, a paid subscription. Other features stay free.

We may change which features are free or part of Pro. If a change takes away something you paid for during your current period, it will stay available until that period ends.

11. No guarantees

We work hard on the App, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties of any kind, including that the App will be error-free, always available, or that it will help you reach any athletic, strength, weight or recovery goal, or that it will prevent injury.

12. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Comeback Strength and its owners, members and contractors are not liable for any personal injury, illness, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the App, any exercise or nutrition information in it, or your training.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Some places don't allow certain limits on liability. In those places, these limits apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct where the law says so.

13. Release

To the fullest extent the law allows, you release Comeback Strength and its owners, members and contractors from claims for injury, illness or loss arising from your training or your use of the App.

You agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, if a claim is brought against us because you misused the App or broke these Terms.

14. Changes

We may update the App and these Terms. If we make important changes to the Terms, we will tell you in the App and ask you to agree again before you keep using it. The date at the top shows when these Terms last changed.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we stop offering the App. You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

15. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the App.

16. Apple App Store terms

If you got the App from Apple's App Store or TestFlight, these points also apply:
